MT HUTT LODGE

Built on a hill, the lodge offers stunning views of the snow capped peaks of the Hutt Mountains, just across the river. As you'd imagine, the area is a mecca for trout and salmon fishing enthusiasts but there's also plenty to see and do for the non-fisher folk. Even if you're not interested in the snow! Try tramping, play a round of golf or pop over to the nearby Springfield station where you can journey on the Transalpine Express, one of the world's great train rides.

Mt Hutt Lodge has just four one-bedroom units, each sleeping up to four people. All units have a fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher, microwave, phone, VCR and spa bath. Separate laundry facilities are available. There is an outdoor pool, childen's play equipment and restaurant on site.
