THE BISHOP SELWYN

The Bishop Selwyn Resort in Paihia is just two blocks from the beach and the most beautiful marine park in New Zealand - the Bay of Islands. Dotted with 144 sandy beached, forest covered islands, the Bay is home to an incredible array of sea life, including whales, dolphins and marlin. Take a boat cruise to see it all!

Nearby, the spectacular Kauri forest - home to some of the world's largest and most majestic trees - must be seen to be truly believed. The largest Kauri of all, "Tane Mahuta" - Lord of the Forest - is 170 feet tall and more than 1200 years old.

The Bishop Selwyn has 17 units with either one or two bedrooms. All units offer full kitchens with dishwasher and microwave, air-conditioning, washer and dryer. Some of the two bedroom units have spas.
