THE RIDGE RESORT

You'll feel like you've found an up market log cabin in the woods when you discover The Ridge Resort, just outside Queenstown. Each of these three bedroom chalets is kitted out with a wood fire, quaint stone walls and windows big enough for you to soak up the spectacular views. There are two bathrooms, a full kitchen with dishwasher and microwave, washer/dryer and even a private outdoor spa!

Onsite you'll find an owner's lounge to unwind in, games room and playground for the kids, tennis court, BBQ area as well as bikes and exercise equipment for those more active moments.

The surrounding area is a true nature lover's paradise. Trek through the rainforests, fish for trout in the rivers or forage in the old gold mining sites. In winter you're just a short drive from some world class ski fields, while in summer there are plenty of lakes and streams to take a dip in. Of course, Queenstown is famous for its adventure tourism, so if you're feeling game there's always bungee jumping, jet boating or black water rafting to try.
